Sometimes we do not have to plan a huge event to travel to someone to grant a wish. You just have to keep your eyes and ears open. We came across Gerold, a 76 year old from Durant, OK sitting in the swing at the Garold Wayne Interactive Zoological Park taking in the sights and sounds of a busy day at the zoo. Engaging in conversation with him breifly, Joe Exotic, Park Entertainment Director, quickly discovered Gerold had been diagnosed with Pancratic cancer and had been given just three months to live. Joe asked Gerold if he had any last wishes that the park could help fulfill while him and his family were visiting and Gerold responded with that he always wanted to pet a tiger. Guess what? Gerold got to hold and pet a baby tiger that day. It was a very emotional scene to watch unfold right before our eyes.
